The Trip is Over But the Memories Aren’t

March 1, 2017

Well, we made it home alive — that’s always a good thing. I still have fresh memories of the beach, the sunsets, the water that was warm enough to actually swim in, but most importantly, the people who came to visit and make my life so much more enjoyable. I actually made a few friends this year who’s names I actually remember. There was Josh, the oyster shucker at Dat Cajun Place, Don the Cop from Nebraska, and the world’s most aptly-named couple, Tweetie and Gas Can. I want to especially thank my family for accepting the trip (though it looks like they thrived quite well without me…)

Anyway… while the memories are still fresh and before I delete many of the 700 photos I took down there, I’m going to keep putting some pics up every few days — at least until you guys stop visiting…

Here’s an artsy-fartsy sand shot I took as the sun went down.
